At  Pawtenza we make sustainable, high-quality dog toys.  We believe that there should be less waste and more play, which is why we utilise  eco-friendly materials and processes in our production.

Our commitment goes beyond just creating fun and safe play experiences for your pets; we aim to have a broader impact, positively affecting the lives of animals everywhere.

To accomplish this, we will provide consistent support to animal charities around the globe.

At the forefront of our mission we aspire to become part of the solution to diminish the global count of stray dogs.

Countries like Thailand and Indonesia, for instance, are grappling with an alarmingly high population of street dogs.

Numerous charities, including Happy Doggo, Soi Dog, and Streetpaws, are relentlessly working towards the welfare of these animals.

Their efforts involve sterilisation procedures to prevent the birth of puppies into the harsh realities of street life. They take care of ill street animals by providing daily food and care.

These charities also offer medication and finance veterinary visits for sick and injured animals.

We aspire to contribute to such projects in hopes of lessening the extreme suffering that these animals endure every single day.

We value the world our dogs play in, and therefore, contribute significantly to conservation projects to help preserve and protect our shared environment.

Through the creation of our eco-friendly dog toys, we not only enrich the lives of our pets but also contribute to the betterment of our world.

Sustainability Road Map

  • Eco-friendly Material Sourcing

    • Our materials are from sustainable, renewable, and recycled sources.
    • We will ensure that our suppliers adhere to the highest environmental and ethical standards, creating partnerships with those who share our sustainability commitment.
    • Diverting fabric away from landfill is our next goal!

  • Manufacturing

    • At the beginning of our toy production stage we had a couple of toys made in China but have since started manufacturing in the UK.
    • We will transition towards using energy-efficient production processes and aim for our manufacturers to utilise renewable energy sources for our operations. 
    • All of our packaging is 100% biodegradable.

  • Carbon-neutral Shipping

    • Working with logistics partners who are committed to carbon-neutral or low-carbon transport methods.
    • We will also optimise our packaging to be lightweight and made from recycled or biodegradable materials, reducing the overall emissions related to transport.

  • Investment in Carbon Offsetting

    • We understand that it might not be possible to eliminate all our emissions immediately.
    • We will invest in verified carbon offsetting projects, which might include reforestation initiatives or renewable energy projects.

  • Continuous Evaluation

    • We will set clear, measurable sustainability goals, and report our progress annually to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • We will use these reports to understand where we can make improvements and continue to reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Product Lifecycle Management

    • Designing our toys to be long-lasting to minimise waste is at the forefront of our mission.
